To maintain consistency in tuning, the damping direction may vary on the same pair of headphones. It could be installed in either the forward or reverse direction. These practices are all aimed at achieving consistent frequency response curves. This is because our factory standard for headphone testing is much higher than the industry average. Before factory testing, we fine-tune the damping position to improve the symmetry of the headphone frequency response curve. In the industry, as long as the left and right channels maintain a certain degree of deviation, products can be shipped. Therefore, their damping positions are typically fixed. However, before shipping, we make every effort to achieve symmetry, and thus, on the production line, there is a step to fine-tune the damping position in order to meet better technical standards.
